Volume One, Chapter Two: Show Off Again, and I'll Take You Down!
“Ah!”
My sister-in-law was startled and quickly turned her face away.
Fortunately, she reacted quickly; otherwise, that little rascal would have actually kissed her!
“What are you doing!”
Her expression was full of anger, yet her voice was gentle— even when upset, it sounded almost like a coquettish plea.
The punk wore a smug grin and said brazenly, “I’m teaching you how to smoke. You don’t like it?”
She replied firmly, “I don’t!”
The punk glanced over at my cousin and asked, “Big Dragon, you got a problem with that?”
This put Zhao Dalong in a tough spot—his eyes were uneasy, filled with nervousness and fear.
Clearly, this punk was trying to take advantage!
He was a man.
It was humiliating to watch someone else take liberties with his wife.
Seeing his hesitation, the punk’s expression turned cold, his tone harsh: “What, you got a problem?”
“Big brother, my wife hasn’t seen much of the world. Please, just don’t force her...” Zhao Dalong pleaded.
“Dalong, you’ve been itching for trouble lately, huh?” The punk smirked maliciously, already rubbing his hands together, ready to make a move.
Dalong swallowed nervously, then turned to his wife, gritting his teeth, “Xiaoxiao, big brother’s just teaching you to smoke. Just cooperate, it’ll be over soon.”
Hearing that, my sister-in-law’s face instantly went pale!
She never expected her newlywed husband to say something like that—so spineless!
The punk grew even more arrogant, grinning slyly, “Little sis, your man’s got no objections, so stop making a fuss.”
“Come on, let me teach you to smoke.”
He took another drag and leaned toward her again.
Her face was ashen; she forgot to dodge in shock.
Just as the punk’s foul mouth was about to touch her face, I couldn’t hold back any longer and grabbed him.
The punk, focused entirely on my sister-in-law, stumbled from my sudden pull.
I stepped in front of her, shielding her behind me.
My cousin was useless.
But I wasn’t.
Though timid, I couldn’t just stand by and watch that punk bully my sister-in-law!
“Who the hell are you to butt in?” The punk glared at me and cursed.
In the past, I would have been scared of someone like him.
But with my sister-in-law behind me, no matter how afraid I was, I had to stand like a man.
“Who the hell are you?” I retorted, standing my ground. “I’m telling you, get lost!”
“Keep acting tough and I’ll knock you out!”
Though I was twenty, my smooth face made me look like a teenager.
The punk wasn’t scared at all; instead, he mocked me.
“Look at your unlucky self.”
“Trying to threaten me?”
“Have you grown all your hair yet, coming at me like that?”
His words were rude, but I didn’t care.
Growing up in the village, I’d heard all kinds of harsh talk.
I was angry, so I fired back, “Go ask your mom, she knows if I have hair or not!”
“Damn!”
His temper flared instantly, and he shouted, “You little brat, what did you say?”
“Say that again if you dare!”
“I swear, I’ll kill you if you say another word!”
He yelled, but I wasn’t afraid.
I was all in.
“What’re you yelling about? If you dare touch me, I won’t let your mom recognize you, and I won’t consider you my dad!”
“Son of a—!”
The punk exploded in anger and kicked me!
I was caught off guard and slammed into the car seat.
“Loser!”
He sneered, mocking me.
“With your skills, you wanna pick a fight with me?”
“Enough! Get lost!”
“I’d rather get lost than listen to you!”
The more I looked at him, the angrier I got. I shouted and charged at him!
He kicked again, but I instinctively grabbed his leg.
To be honest, this punk wasn’t a trained fighter—brawling was all about who was tougher.
He had just harassed my sister-in-law, so I was furious.
With a burst of strength, I pulled his leg hard, making him stumble.
Seizing the chance, I kicked him in the groin.
Serves you right!
Let’s see if you still dare cause trouble afterward!
“Ah, damn it!”
He screamed in pain.
I didn’t hold back.
While he was down, I pounced, punching and kicking him fiercely!
Within moments, blood covered his face.
“Xiaogang, stop!”
At that moment, my sister-in-law’s gentle voice urged me to stop.
I paused and glanced at the punk.
He was terrified, avoiding my gaze.
“Trash!”
I spat at him once more.
He didn’t dare reply.
I realized I couldn’t leave him in the car. If he went to the city to stir trouble, it would be a real problem.
Since we were in a secluded area, I decided to settle things then and there.
I told the driver to pull over by the roadside and dragged the punk out.
Then I told the driver to leave quickly, putting distance between us and this trouble.
Once the car was moving again, I returned to my seat.
I could feel the other passengers looking at me strangely—some with fear, some with admiration.
It was a good feeling.
Especially after protecting my sister-in-law, my mood lifted considerably.
She looked at me and softly said, “Xiaogang, thank you.”
“No problem...”
Before I could respond politely, my cousin angrily snapped.
“Thank your ass!”
“Damn it!”
“You two are such useless idiots!”
My cousin, who had been so meek before, suddenly came alive, pointing at me and scolding fiercely.
“Xiaogang, are you crazy?”
“Do you even know who that was?”
“That’s the notorious thug around here!”
“Why’d you pick a fight with him?”
“Let me tell you, this is going to cause big trouble!”
My sister-in-law frowned, defending me, “Dalong, that’s not how it is.”
“It wasn’t Xiaogang looking for trouble—it was that thug who came after me...”
“You’ve got some nerve!”
My cousin glared at her, raging, “If you didn’t dress so flashy all the time, would anyone dare harass you?”
“I must be blind to have married someone like you!”
Hearing this tirade, my sister-in-law was stunned.
She was harassed, yet it was somehow her faultI'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
