Chapter One: The Final Curtain and the Descent to the Divine Continent

Raising his hand, the glowing orb at the lower right corner of the Sealing Monument shot toward Shuster. "Ding! You have obtained the special weapon: 'Pandora's Box.'"

A black chest adorned with faint golden patterns, its front center set with a silver-white skull, the very sight of it hinted at its extraordinary power.

Looking up, Shuster found himself facing a horde of giant toads, just like before. But now, with Pandora's Box in his possession, he had no reason to fear them. Mimicking Dante’s technique from memory, he placed the box on the ground. A flash of light later, a six-barreled Gatling gun materialized, aimed straight at the mass of toads...

"Rat-a-tat-tat!" Roaring tongues of flame swept across the enemy lines, utterly suppressing the opposing side. Another flash of light, and a PS124 three-tube shoulder-mounted rocket launcher appeared on Shuster’s shoulder, targeting the enemy...

"Boom!" Scorching shockwaves from the explosion blasted the toads into the air. Yet again, a flash of light, and an ornate boomerang appeared in Shuster’s hand. With a flick of his wrist, he sent it flying...

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" It sliced through every toad before returning to his hand. The light flickered again...

Shuster slung Pandora’s Box onto his back. In an instant, it transformed into a small flying craft that lifted him off the ground. Its design was two circular rings crossed in an X, the intersection at the front crowned with the skull from Pandora’s Box, twelve gaping cannon muzzles around its frame hinting at its terrifying destructive power...

"Bang! Bang!... Bang! Bang!" Twelve cannons fired twelve missiles, each tracking its own toad. "Rumble!" The ground shook as the area was completely annihilated.

This was a place known as the Divine Continent. According to the scriptures, in ancient times, both the God of Light and the God of Darkness discovered this land simultaneously. Each desired to claim the continent for themselves, and so a fierce war erupted between the two.

The forces of Light dispatched the Twelve Guardian Angels at the forefront, leading ten million two-winged angels, two hundred thousand four-winged angels, and fifty thousand six-winged angels into battle against the God of Darkness’s Twelve Demon Lords and twenty million dark creatures. The ferocity of the conflict spilled over to the domains of other deities’ followers. After negotiations, the God of Darkness refused to cede any territory belonging to other races, which ultimately led to his downfall.

The epic battle was recorded in history, and in the end, the God of Light barely managed to drive the God of Darkness into the Demonic Realm. Together with the other gods, they now safeguard this land, hence its name: the Divine Continent.

Bathed in sunlight, amidst an endless forest, a figure emerged. Clad in a white, high-collared, sleeveless vest, a red cloak, brown shorts revealing snow-white legs that would inspire envy in any woman, and tall boots accentuating a slender stature, the person’s exquisite face was partially hidden beneath a short bob of white hair. This petite figure strolled leisurely through the woods.

“So this is the Divine Continent?” The speaker was none other than our protagonist, Shuster. Having vanquished the last of the giant toads in one fell swoop, he had reached Intermediate Tier Six, and the system had forcibly teleported him here.

“System, show personal information,” Shuster commanded, as a sudden thought struck him.

“Whew, these two weapons will make excellent trump cards,” Shuster thought contentedly as he gazed at Pandora and Lucifer.

“Ding! The following functions are available: View Personal Information, Infinite Inventory, Item Exchange, Task System, Monster Slaying and Leveling Up.”

“System, I want to exchange items.”

“Currently, the host possesses: Soul Crystals x12485, C-rank Main Quest x2, B-rank Main Quest x1. Consumable tab can be unlocked. Unlock cost: C-rank Main Quest x2. Proceed with unlock?”

A moment of silence. “Unlock…” Shuster gritted his teeth, face darkened.

“Ding, unlock successful.”

Immediately, a long list appeared before his eyes.

“…This is ridiculous!” In the next second, Shuster let out a wail.
