Hello, everyone. I am Jianbao, a new author, debuting for the first time. I humbly beg for your first subscription! I’ll probably set up a group for this book, and after discussing with some group members, we’ve decided to start with a general group. We’ll see how things go after launching tomorrow before considering anything else. If we open a full subscription group in the future, I’ll add some side stories when the plot reaches the right moment.

I’m about to stay up late and accumulate some drafts, so I’ll take this chance to chat for a bit. Some readers commented about single updates, so let me explain: most of the time, the single updates are because two chapters separated didn't feel right, so I combined them; but even so, they’re usually four to five thousand words each. However, my updates have sometimes been scarce due to the demands of the 996 beta schedule. Now that the book is launched, I’ll do my best to stay up late and aim for 4k words daily for full attendance. I’m striving for consistency, though I don’t expect much from the results.

Though I haven’t stated it clearly in the book, those who’ve read this far probably know—we are a harem novel! If you don’t like harem stories, feel free to move on. I won’t play stock games that end with a single female lead. (The special case of "Little Pei’s First Blood" doesn’t count as a stock win.)

Also, I recently saw some outrageous comments about how the Empress Dowager being pure is unrealistic. If you’re looking for something else, this book isn’t for you. I don’t understand why you’d write about that if you don’t want to. It’s absurd.

Previously, someone asked about spicy content. Rest assured, it will appear. It hasn’t yet because the story opened at such a high point, I wanted to slowly unfold things, which delayed the satisfying moments. My skills are lacking, but I’ll work harder.

Personally, I like writing contrasts in characters—such as someone who appears noble and aloof but is secretly submissive. (Just an example; I am a gentleman, trust me.) If you dislike this, feel free to comment “1” here, but I won’t change, sorry!

Some readers have great IDs—be careful, or I’ll catch you and put you in the book! I’ve already included three or four reader-inspired IDs. If you have suggestions for supporting characters, leave them in the thread.

I’ve also noticed some clever readers who have actually guessed the upcoming plot. If you see it later, don’t accuse me of copying from the reviews!
