Let me tell you: no, that is impossible! And it will never happen!

To be blunt, a niche-style book like mine, despite its mediocre performance, would have seen its subscription numbers explode if I had sold it to a studio! Besides, an account like mine, belonging to a struggling writer, really isn't worth much.

Regarding the plot: growth, apprenticing at Wuzhuang Temple, heading down the mountain to continue a life as a demon, struggling to get ahead, and integrating into the world of Journey to the West... this is my outline.

Originally, there was a segment of the plot involving leaving Wuzhuang Temple to visit the monkeys at Flower-Fruit Mountain, which I thought was quite brilliant. But the moment I started writing it, the comments section exploded with people bashing me. Honestly, I regret it now. I was spooked, so I had to cut the plot on the fly and pull later chapters forward. To make the transition seem reasonable, I wrote a couple of bridging chapters, including a bit about Lion Camel Ridge. The Lion Camel Ridge and Lion Camel Kingdom in the original work are fascinating, and I intended to write them out properly later because they would certainly be needed, but I was torn to shreds for that too!

Then came the return to the mountain. Just for that, for hiding for a year to avoid the pursuit of the great demons of Lion Camel Ridge, many readers accused the plot of being disjointed?

And then, the most common criticism: "You apprenticed at Wuzhuang Temple, you got a Golden Elixir, and you’re leaving the mountain already? Shouldn't you at least reach the level of a Human Immortal, Earthly Immortal, or Celestial Immortal before you dare show your face?" "Returning to a group of demons is just like going back to a chicken coop in the countryside?"

Please, this is a story about the growth of a minor demon, not a protagonist starting out as an overlord! Furthermore, this is a demon-themed novel with an ensemble cast of monsters; the demon race and demon characters are destined to take up a significant portion of the story—it is not a pure Xianxia novel. Moreover, this book hasn't even reached four hundred thousand words yet. Everything you want to see will be there, and I will write it, but it certainly won't be rushed! Everything needs to progress step by step!

If there were no foreshadowing, no plot, and no character development, and I just jumped straight to the end, do you think any readers would stick around? Would you even read it?

Also, regarding the criticism over the last two days about finding the snake demon: I figured that a powerful demon who has transmigrated and gained some strength would naturally want to find a few lovers, right? Is it really worth being bashed like this?

I apologize for losing my composure; I’m feeling a bit emotional. But authors are human, too, and we have fragile hearts. To be honest, I’ve been quite depressed by the criticism over the past few days.

Therefore, no matter how much you criticize in the comments section, as long as you don't make personal attacks or stir up trouble, I won't delete them. I will continue to write the plot according to my outline.
